Oh gosh. Finally got the gingerbread house and fantasy fudge done today after shopping all day, fighting with the cell phone company, and doctors appointments....
Sure thing! It's SOOOOO good. Not even joking, I hate cherries - yet I absolutely love cherries in the snow. It's one of my most anticipated dishes of the holiday season, right behind fruit salad which I forgot to mention and our yeast rolls.
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (12 oz) tub of whipped topping
8 cups of 1-inch-cubed angel food cake
1 (20 oz) can of cherry pie filling
Package of chopped pecans to garnish
Beat the cream cheese on medium until smooth. Slowly add the sugar until blended. Take out the mixer and fold the whipped topping in.
Place half the cake cubes in a large bowl; top that with half of the cream cheese mixture. Spread half of the cherry pie filling over top. Repeat the layers again. Sprinkle the pecans generously over the top. Cover and chill, serve cold.
