What are you reading? (or books you highly recommend)

I am reading at the moment and really enjoying, "Shy Boy The horse that came from the wild" By Monty Roberts. It is the story of how he came to get Shy Boy, how he trained him and what happened afterward. If you like horses I would highly recommend this book.

I'm terrified of books or movies with animals in them (even animated ones.) What I think is sad & what every other person on the planet thinks is sad are usually two different things.

i can understand that

i remember when i read the horse whisperer and thinking it was really graphic
that is a sad story, yeah it seems happy at the end but you have to think back to what happened at the beginning

I'm leary of them myself. I've never read Ole Yeller. Never seen that movie, Marley & Me, despite the fact that it seem everyone else in the world has watched it. I've never even watched Bambi. Just can't do it.

I've read or seen all of those... Sad! Sad! Sad! :hit

I just started reading "Shadow Magic" by Joshua Khan. Its a medieval fantasy. I have zero time for reading right now, but this thread is giving me book withdrawals. This is one of my kids books, so it shouldn't take me too long to get thru it. Its been pretty good so far.

What kind of kids (human) do you all have? I have one grown son. He's 26 even though I'm far too young to have a kid that old. I read to him even before he was born. Yeah, doesn't always work. He never read by choice as he grew up. I blame his father. lol

Too many....

Kidding. It just seems like that when they're causing mass chaos.

Never heard of him Rex Stout.

I've read almost every book written by these peeps:

Steven King
John Grisham
Patricia Cornwell
Jeffrey Deaver

I've read lots of books by Dean Koontz, but not all. I read a lot of the Oprah Book Club books back in the day. I've read some extremely amusing memoir type stuff written by Mary Karr.

X2 for all of these authors..well minus the Jeff guy.
Did you read the Eckhart Tolle books back when he was Oprah's favorite? (He used to do live webcasts on her site reading his books)

Just took a random shot of one little section of books I have.
I wanted to show off my Eats Shoots and Leaves. lol
