I was hoping someone would ask what they are....they are quite rare.... they are all Icelandic ChickensThey are so stinkin' cute! What breed are they? I think the little chipmunk looking ones might be EE's but I am a newbie!That is fantastic your hubby is so on board!

Where are you getting them from?I will have to take pics when mine get here. I am going to be ordering them all on Tuesday, I hope they will be here by Friday at the latest. Of course though I may have to video tape myself opening up that box. Its a surprise box, so I have to wonder what all will be in it. I hope above all else that they do not put a goose in it. I don't like geese. I had enough of my aunts geese chase me as a kid.It may be funny now, but back then it wasn't funny at all.![]()

look how cute and tiny they are.. mine are already 4 weeks old and im wanting ur little ones lolThey're here! All 32 chicks (we ordered 30) are alive and well. The invoice says they sent 1 extra Blue Andalusian rooster and then the other extra appears to be a Polish. I'm not entirely sure yet. It has a crest and no leg feathers.
Right after going into the brooder:
You can see the crested chick right in the center. It's smaller than all of the other chicks.
They are settling in and spreading out in the brooder now. Not to mention going to town on their food!
