WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? WHAT DID YOU JUST RECEIVE?

Oh this is a good idea because I know our mail goes through St. Louis
before coming and going out of our small town. I will check with the post master
tomorrow.
Good idea. It's a good idea because of my example. I live in a village called Grant. They have their own post office but all the mail first gets delivered to the town of Newaygo which is about 15 miles north of myself. I never knew that just because their is a post office in your village or town, it doesn't mean all the mail first goes their. It could go to a distribution center like in my case. So when I would of got the call from the post office to pick my chicks up, I would of found out they were not their and then I would of had to go search to where they went. In my case, I would of had to drive to Newaygo and get them their. Now that I contacted the PO, they asked myself on the phone to which PO would I like them to be delivered to. I said Grant of course! So I am guessing my little chicks will have their last trip being a 15 mile drive with the Post Master to the town of Grant for my pick up! I hope my Post Officer loves the sound of their chirping on his/her drive to Grant! lol

My Golden Laced Wyandotte chic's , turned 2wks. today. Ordered 6. 2 cockerels and 4 pullets, from Cackle Hatchery, All arrived happy and healthy. I'm very pleased !!!

. But a little at a time I've noticed 1 chic ( I named her Dumpling ) who has stunted growth. She is very much like the others , mimic the others , But once her pinfeathers started to come, things just slowed down growth wise. She seems perfectly fine other wise. What I do know is her butt is bare , and she still has that round body. I think my son of adult age may have tried to tackle pasty butt, and was to rough ?? Is she stunted. / or will she catch up ??? She's half the size of the rest. And though no one is bothering her now, will they still except her ?? Or should I move her??

I ordered 8 chicks from mypetchicken.com and they came April 8th I got 2 buff orpingtons 2 barred rocks 2 easter eggers and 2 partridge rocks they all arrived healthy and happy and are all still doing very well with no major problems. My only frustration was with the post office and their lack of ability to give me updates on the shipping I waited over 24 hours for an update and was getting nervous about where my chicks were

We want pics of those little lovelies!!!

But as it is, I have to wait till the last week of May

That was the soonest I could get all 4 breeds I wanted shipped. Just as soon as I get them in my hot little hands, (or into the brooder under a nice warm heat source) I'll post some pics!

You know some peoples family members work for the post office

My mother works for the post office and she is definitely smarter than most. I do believe we need to all think before we talk bad about others knowing that we all have family members doing many different jobs

Ok then let me rephrase that no one ever said that ALL postal workers were smart.

Some may be but not all. When they can mistake chicks for checks someone isn't using their brain.

that's the way our post office does it here as well ..if I want to send a letter to celoron a 5 minute drive from here , it first has to go to buffalo which is a hr and a half away ..seems crazy but that's how they do it ..
