WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? WHAT DID YOU JUST RECEIVE?

I just picked up my 8 new babies!!! I ordered from My Pet Chicken and they all look healthy and are eating and drinking. The breeds are: 1 austrolorp, 1 polish, 1 buff Orpington, 1 buff brahma bantam, 2 Easter eggers (1 standard, 1 bantam, 1 Plymouth Rock, and 1 Rhode Island Red.
I'm a first time chicken momma and so excited! And Sunday we are picking up a silkie show girl! I'll post some pics when I get some.
I didn't notice any poopy butts. Is that easy to see or do you have to search through their fuzz?

Pasty butt to the degree it is a health problem is usually pretty self-evident. Heavy searching shouldn't be required unless they are particularly fuzzy or feathered. As they get a little older, you may have to move some feathers, but as long as you can see their little vent, you're fine.

When mine were brand new I put 1 tablespoon ACV in each gallon of water...no pasty butt!!

My five babies are scheduled to arrive from My Pet Chicken on June 10-11. I am VERY excited. They are 2 Buff Orpington, 1 Australorp, 1 Speckled Sussex, and 1 Barred Plymouth Rock. What fun!
