Yea I heard no onions either... Don't see why they couldnt at least eat the onion stalks though. On the other hand I do feed mine the seedy centers out of bell peppers.

No difference in taste what so ever. : )

Onions are good for them, just like they are for us. Although, since they are so strongly flavored, I would not feed a whole bunch. ; )

Some foods like fish, etc can have an effect on the eggs.

Isn't that the best?! I love watching mine play "chicken keep away" with grapes! Even if one has one, she just has to have what the other chicken's got-it's so funny! They do it with grape tomatoes, too. Those 2 items are "my girls" favorites, but they really love bread, too. I tried to give them shelled peanuts, today, but they were just too big. They did seem to like them somewhat after I crushed them. My SPOILED girls!

Mine love yogurt, although I read somewhere on here that dairy isn't good for them They also love watermelon, cantaloupes and pumpkin. I give them the cooked leftover pumpkin shells after I have scraped them for pumpkin pie filling. They like cooked oatmeal too.
