Happy wife, happy life!:thumbsup

DH is a "snow head" (love that phrase!) and I have said I'll never dye my hair. I have changed that to, "when I dye my hair, it's going to be purple." Hasn't happened yet. :)
My gal pal calls it q-tip. I like snow head 😉 I got my first white hair at 22 but usually the sun blended them in for me. Now I am almost totally white except... I do buy a lovely little pink hair tinting shampoo from Daddy-O in Canada. I just leave it on my tips for 30 minutes and then shampoo. It makes me feel less blinding and a little fun. Well, my chickens definitely like it. Next is purple 😉

I've said for decades that if I ever dye my hair, it will be blue - like this or this

Lol, I did it once. We had a "twins" day at work and my twin had blue hair. So we dressed in my plaid flannel shirts and her hair color. We picked a plaid with a lot of blue in it.

If I ever do it again, I will get a MUCH higher quality hair dye. I lost way too many handfuls of hair trying to "comb it in" like the directions said.

Recent lesson learned about mending:
Pinking shears make mending less noticeable because there is no need to make a hem around it.

I still can't make an elbow split invisible on dress shirt unless it has a lot of pattern to hide the stitches in and to give the eye something else to focus on. But it needs less pattern with the pinking shears. Or doesn't matter if the shirt is only worn under a sweater.
