Its around 30 at night an 50 in the day here now an that's about an average winter weather but we have weeks that the days never get above 20 an the nights are between 5 an 15.
The way the jetstreem moves here we can change 70* in a matter of hours.... In 1993 we had a an 80 degree day then woke up to 3 feet of snow the next morning an didn't warm up enough to start melting it for a week.
Gasp! I am thinking more in terms of Texas where a cold winter day is 40 or 50
LOL! Don't say that! We live at 4000ft elevation in Texas, it's a cold cold place around here in the winter. Blizzards, several feet of snow, ice, etc...it happens constantly in the winter. We get negative temps in the winter easily. I remember feeding chickens last winter when it was -3F
There are weeks where it doesn't get above freezing at all!
