Yep, right.....wonder how closely they check, if at all.The hatchery here in New Mexico, Privett Hatchery, was looking for help last year. One of their requirements was that you cannot own chickens lest you bring in disease on your person.
Also wonders what the procedure for entering is...mere shoe dip or coveralls or full clothing change with dedicated shoes.

Made it pretty clear in my resume that I keep a flock, and so far, nothing has been said. I even mentioned currently rehabilitating an injured Silkie in my room to the owner of one of the hatcheries.
They're still planning a second meeting with me next month, supposedly.
We'll see how things go.
