What are your plans for the new year?

My plans are to turn my
To-Do List
Into
My Done list
And finish my already started projects ... From 2016!
I have a roll of HC and a roll of diamond wire that just laugh at me when I walk past them.
The amount of Repair & Reconstruction & Reenforcements you need to do when you free range chickens in your yard/garden is a learn as you go project.

Hi! My poultry resolutions are as follows...
1. Join BYC (done!)
2. Build a brooder (done!)
3. Get my chicks! (They are due at the end of February!)
4. Build a coop and run for them!
5. Getting to write a fun narrative about the life and adventures of my Chickens!
6. Getting eggs from my backyard!
7. Making some friends here.
8. Seeing how my gardening can be beneficial for both my flock and garden!

I second that, start building the coop before the eggs/chicks get here...they grow fast, trust me!

We plan on getting it done before they get here, and have a plan B if we slack.
(Plan B: Hire the nice man who said he could do it for us in a weekend or less, should we choose not to make it ourselves.)

1. Reduce current flock by up to 8 Birds. Might go to a livestock auction, might send to freezer camp. Some unwanted breeds, some unwanted cockerels.

First item accomplished! We sold 9 chickens at a livestock auction. Looked like they went to places where they will continue to live with new families.
