What are your talents?

You know at first I thought it was something like that, so I had numerous doctors check it out. I have had my hearing tested many times and I actually have higher then average hearing. I can tell if a house has bad electrical as well as feel it too (if I touch the wall I can feel tingling or numbing go through my fingers and hand) I also can tell when announcements are going to come on over the speakers at school just before it happens, sounds like a 'zzzzzzZZZZZZ-POP' and then a second later an announcement comes on over the speakers. Ive asked all my friends and none of them say they can hear it..... I also have to be careful around electrical sockets, if I'm in a few inches of one I get shocked :/ Oh and I have a nack for killing small electronics.... Cameras, clocks, watches are the worst.

That's very interesting to hear about, I don't think I've ever come across anyone else who that's happened to before, not even on those "my wacky physical ability" shows.
I wonder what would cause it!

I am strangely good at shooting handguns, even though I almost never practice.  I suppose that's a good talent. :D

Also: as any moderator can tell you, I am exceptionally skilled at hijacking threads and making people angry.  In addition, many of my friends will agree that I can rant far better than anyone else.  I also argued politics with a lawyer, in person, at Chili's (long story).  Does that count as a talent?

I think anyone who can talk about politics, let alone hold a debate, has a talent. That would probably mean there are a lot of talented people in the world to me. :lau Goes straight over my head anyway. :p

Yeah.

I am not arty at all, I cannot keep a plant alive to save my life, my best drawing is a stick figure. However, I can bake the pants off of Martha Stewart any day of the week. I can also cremate an idiot with words.

I am exceptionally talented when it comes to irritating my wife. Not in any grand way but in a million little ways throughout the day.
For instance, she sent me to the store today for milk and spaghetti noodles. When I got back I put the milk and spaghetti away but I told her I had forgotten the milk. I let her rant and sigh and roll her eyes at me. When she found the milk this evening, she screamed,"Why do you do this to me?!"

It's just a talent I guess.

I have a word for that that I cannot say here.

If I didn't tease and irritate my wife, she'd ask me if I'm mad or feeling ill!

And this is exactly the fashion in which the Princess and I have survived 48 years together.

My talents: extremely good at observation - people watcher and animal watcher supreme. Excellent at relating to animals and capable of surviving with humans. Call me a chameleon if you will. The outdoors is where I survive. The great advantage of being old

and retired is that I get to spend most of my time outside. That is when I am not on BYC.

My talents are the ability to care for and understand animals. I've always had a thing with animals. I understand them and they understand me. Animals are basically my best friends. I also understand the woods. That may be another talent. I can walk through my woods without getting lost, and it's a big woods.

Congratulations on 48 years! That's an accomplishment to be proud of. We're going on 19 now and I can't imagine my life any other way.

I don't know if you call this a talent than more of an ability, I can see individual leaves on trees at 1800 meters. I also have excellent low light vision. I can also detect snakes and differentiate them by scent. I sometimes can detect living things from their bio-electrical field, sometimes called an aura. When I'm shooting I can see the impact point of the bullet . . . . before I pull the trigger. I think I spent too much time in the woods when I was growing up. I also used to dove hunt, with archery equipment.
