What attracted you to your spouse/partner?

Love at first sight. Been in love together for more than 30 years.
Everyday is a new lovely day together in our lives together.
Yes shiot hits the fan when we least expect it but we always seem to come out the other side better than before.
Thank God for my lovely wife, am so blessed!

1. I put an ad on AOL Love. Paul sent me an E-card that played, "You are so Beautiful". I had never even IM'd with him before! (found out later, the video on his PC wasn't working, he had just sent a mass mailing of the card to every gal that fit his criterea on AOL LOVE)

2. He is PATIENCE personified.

3. Brains/personality... Must share my religeous beliefs.

By the way, I was a widow at 40, the first hubby was verbally abusive, and of all the people in the world, I should have been the one to be cautious. But, I drove 4 hours to meet Paul the first time, sight unseen on both sides. We got married a year later. 9 years later, I have absolutely NEVER been so happy in my life!!!!!!!!

TV dramas are NEVER about real life. The producers of the show specifically set out to find the most extreme and atypical people possible just to "hook" viewers. Sounds like you are one "hooked" fish. I am the same way with the "Bachelor/Bachelorette" series.

1.) What first attracted you to your partner?
Sense of humor!

2.) What is the one thing you love most about them?
Sense of humor!

3.) If you had to pick someone based on only one trait, would it be looks or brains/personality?
I think you see the pattern here.....Intelligence is a major turn on for me and laughter is what makes a great marriage. We spend 95% of our time together (we work together) and enjoy being together. We work hard and play hard. His intelligence only adds to his quick humor. Oh, and he's good looking too but looks are NEVER enough.

Oh, I am totally hooked on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. I know that its totally not real, but its nice to just chill for an hour and think about love. I really do hope Ed and Jillian make it though, he seems like a really nice guy. And after what that one guy did to Deanna, I can't believe what she did to both Jesse and Jason.

But I guess that's the point, it hooks us in and makes us want to watch the next season. Who do you think will be the Bachelor next year? I think it SHOULD be Jeremy (from Deana's season) or Jake from this season (he seemed like the only truely sweet, mature guy there) but I think it might be Reid or Kiptyn.

1.) What first attracted you to your partner?
His voice and his kindness. Then I took him to a party with friends and he fared on his own just fine w/o hanging on me the whole time.

2.) What is the one thing you love most about them?
His patience with me and my crap.

3.) If you had to pick someone based on only one trait, would it be looks or brains/personality?
Personality. I've dated boring brains and boring looks, but a good personality will never be boring.

I know, I thought she'd take him to the end, because he seemed like what she was looking for. I loved his date with her where they picked out country outfits and danced. He seemed so sweet and like a true southern (if Texas counts) gentleman. Instead she took two immature boys and one seemingly good man. At least she picked the best one out of the three.

1.) What first attracted you to your partner?
Honestly? That he is nothing like me, and I love the freckles on his strong arms.

2.) What is the one thing you love most about them? That we are nothing alike, I'm the spazz in the family and he centers me and keeps me calm. If we were alike, we'd drive each other crazy.

3.) If you had to pick someone based on only one trait, would it be looks or brains/personality? Brains and personality. Looks don't mean a lot if you have nothing to talk about as equals. (Well, I do love his gorgeous blue/green eyes, even after over 18 years of marriage.....
