3.) If you had to pick someone based on only one trait, would it be looks or brains/personality?
After being married for 12 years, I'd say brains I think.

If we do, we'll probably get some good laughs.

Anyone read Dr. Laura's 'The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands'? IT WORKS!!!!

Edited to say that if my husband posted a picture of me, I would murder him on the spot.

His eyes, I know how shallow of me. But they are deep blue like denim and he has really dark hair. It was my Luke Duke look that I'd been waiting for haha. And then after one date we knew we were menat to be cause our personalities meshed so well. Also he's so darn funny he keeps me laughing every day.

Hes my better half, he spoils me and makes me want to be a better person. He's so giving and doesnt demand things in return. He took in my kids as his own and has never treated them as anything less.

Brains/Personality for sure. I dated guys in high school that werent good looking in the normal sense of the word, but I thought they were beautiful because I had gotten to know them and liked them for who they were as a person. That is the beauty that matters most!

For me it was:-

His beautiful dark brown eyes

He makes me laugh (still!) and makes me feel I am the most important thing in his world.

I love the smell of him.... simple as that....if I could bottle it I would, he alway smells divine, even when he has been outdoors all day with sheep or cattle ......If I had to choose one trait about him..... his kindness to everything living be it animal or human..... this man has a heart of pure gold... a truly good person, but not a saint. LOL

1.) What first attracted you to your partner?
he was beautiful and confident AND he knew me though I didn't know him (he remembered me when I used to go to his elementary school before I moved over a decade before that really impressed me).
2.) What is the one thing you love most about them?
that he loves me unconditionally would and just about does everything for me he's very selfless

personality....the confidence of my husband was the main thing that attracted me to him because I'm not a confident person myself he completes me

1.) He gives wonderful backrubs, he sings in a lovely baritone, and he's very...ummm... manly. Random females of every species seem to smell his testosterone from hundreds of yards away and flock to it. It's sort of disturbing actually, especially when our female cats fuss to sit in his lap and the male cat bites him.

2.) He is not scared of strong women. Un-be-freakin'-lievable how many men out there think they will just wither up and perish if a woman is brainier than them and makes more money than they do. He doesn't have that problem though. He is happy to have a sugar mamma.

3.) Personality for sure. I dated a couple guys who were real lookers, the kind your mother looks over and says, "Oh dear, he is a catch." Both were dumber than rocks and in the end, not worth the time. They were so BORING! And embarrassing! We'd go to a party or a friend's house or something, and my friends and I would be talking about, you know, current events, foreign films, art exhibits, politics, what have you, and they'd blurt out something horribly, painfully stupid, and then smile like they deserved a cookie for being such a good boy. My friends would give me this sympathetic/snarky look, like, well, we know why you're with him, don't we. If we stayed in and I cooked an elegant candlelit gourmet meal, they'd whine that it wasn't burnt steak and box potatoes and yellow box cake with Hershey's chocolate icing like their old ma used to make, the spoilt things. They were smokin' hot though.

We had spoken and emailed but the first time we met, I thought she was floating across the walkway when she walked. She had a huge smile too. I found out later that she had collagen injected into her heels just a few days before that to give her an extra glide.

I love that she has great values that surpass our day to day interactions. She is true to her word.

A smart wit and sense of humor, the person inside the personality is the one you love.
