He wasn't normal. LOL We were in math class, differential equations at U of Washington, who's normal there? LOL

2.) What is the one thing you love most about them?

I'm spoiled!

3.) If you had to pick someone based on only one trait, would it be looks or brains/personality?

Brains/personality because looks aren't forever.

We were playing Dungeons & Dragons, one of our guys brought him as an extra, I looked up & the earth shifted. Corny I know, but the gravitational pull changed right then and there. We were friends for a couple years before we became a couple. 6 years, 3 kids and 1 brain tumor later, we decided to get hitched. That was 9 years ago.

Someone said this in an earlier post but it fits. I love "Him". His good, his bad, all of it. Plus he sounds really cute when he's having a bad day and calls "just cause I need to hear you".

I go for personality cause if I can't stand to talk to you, I definately won't be lookin at you.

So I have three questions:

1.) What first attracted you to your partner?

I didn't like him at first. We were teens. We worked together @ a fast food restaurant, and I was coming off a crappy 2.5 year relationship, so I thought I wanted to be a nun. (okay, not really, but I did say it a lot!) He was always sooo nice to me...I worked the drive through, and he would always keep my sauces, drink cups, ice, etc stocked for me without my asking. I was soooooooo mean to him! I'd tell him to get out, demand why he was helping me. Told him I'd never like him... what a treasure I was!
Well, one day my mom asked me why I was so mean to him, and I had no answer... which made me feel stupid... so, I started "tolerating" him... which he took for friendliness, and would follow me around and talk to me all the time... it went from tolerance to, "Hmm, he's sorta okay to talk to."
He made me laugh a lot, and one day I gave him my # and told him he could call me if he wanted. He did, as soon as I walked in the door, and professed his love for me, haha... Oops... I only liked him as a friend... I told him this, and thought he'd hate me... but, he was so darn sweet, and told me as long as we could hang out and talk, if all we could be was friends, he was cool with it... I didn't believe him, but he was just as nice...
THEN, one night, he made me a tape, and titled it, "Songs that make me think of you." While listening to the music, I started falling for him... kinda weird, but true... the last song was called "My Ally" by Victoria Williams Scroll down and click on "My Ally" to hear it. When I heard it, I KNEW I was going to marry him, and that I was madly, head over heels, in love with him...
Being 19, of course, I had to call him and tell him, "I think I like you.... I mean, REALLY like you." We didn't kiss for awhile after that, but we dated for 2.5 years, and have been married for almost 12 years.

2.) What is the one thing you love most about them?

His huge heart. He seems like he is very cool, but he is the sweetest, most caring man I know.. besides my dad & grandpa, of course! I love that I am the only person he tells everything to, and that I can tell everything to, and not worry about being judged, or having something used against me...
He is the best dad & husband. A very loyal and loving person. He is super forgiving, but not a pushover... I love the way he looks at me like I am a princess, and treats me like a queen.
I also love that we are best friends... no matter how many rocky times we have had, we can always revert back to best friends/team mates, and get through anything. I highly recommend falling for your best friend.

3.) If you had to pick someone based on only one trait, would it be looks or brains/personality?

Personality. He can make me laugh at myself when I am uber-upset. He has a very smart sense of humor, and knows exactly when to say things. I think he is as perfect as perfect can be. But, I am biased.

His dark handsome looks.

His quiet,kind and gentle personality. Its a great match for my fiesty redhead temperment.


2: Whats the one thing you love most about them?

So many things! He is the kindest husband any woman could ever ask for. He would never dare to try to control me. I always come first with him. I am a real grump sometimes, he has the patience of a saint. I can give him 15 minutes notice that we have to leave to go get another pet from someplace..and he just grins and shakes his head and asks 'Where are we going now, and what is it this time?"

He works and yet still does alot of the chores around here. He cooks a darn good meal! He drove to Ohio because i wanted a puppy..need i say more?

I just love the guy! He truly gives me more than i could ever deserve.. And i'd be lost without him. He's also my best friend...you cant get any better than that.

3: I'd say Personality. If you cant make me laugh..you dont have me to begin with.
