What bantam breeds are best?

I have Millie Fluer D'Uccles and Chochins. They are friendly and quit hardy. They fallow me and i have a few that do have fits if i do not pick them up and hold them. I had a millie Roo that would allways fly up and sit on my shoulder when ever i went in the coop. We lost him this past December. I live in Mn and this morning it was -23. I do keep the temp in the coop at 35 and they have laid steady all winter.

Wyandotte bantams are good choice, easy going, rose comb that doesn't freeze. Lay good for bantams. Many color patterns to choose from.

Out of all my bantams (japs, sebrights, oegb, silkies, wyandotte roo, mixed hen, cochins) my cochins are definitely the friendliest.
My oegb are very calm, don't object to being held.
The parent stock keeps their distance, but the 6 babies from them are more friendly.

Love the Old English Games. We have BB Reds and Silverduckwings. They are so fun to watch, great mothers and very good foragers.

I just love my cochin & brahmas (they make wonderful lap chickens very sweet)

This past month I tried to hatch Blue Bantam Orpington eggs (they didn't hatch) I was amazed at the size of their eggs! much bigger than Cochins eggs!!!

The more you hold them during brooding the friendlier they will!

I love my little moderns, they are the best. So full of personality and very loveable. They like to be held and make the cutest noises.

Here is my rooster Cornelius
