I am reading a book by Anthony E. Wolf called "Get Out of My Life (but first could you drive me and Cheryl to the mall?)"
Its hilarious! And it sure makes me see raising a teen in a much different light.
I just finished Cell by Stephan King.... brrrrrr.....
That's the only Stephen King book I ever put down and didn't want to pick up again. I'll pick it up again sometime, but it started out so violently and just put me off.

I read that one a few years ago, I agree, awesome book. Makes you look at cathedrals and churches a little differently.
I've been (trying to read House of Leaves) arhgg. I need something more pleasant. But I keep going back and it's complicated! Never read anything like it!
I am reading "A Breath of Snow and Ashes" by Diana Gabaldon (her Outlander series). It takes place in colonial America just before the Revolutionary War. It's full of great historical content and political positioning, it's technically a romance novel, but with enough history in it to tell myself that it's classier
. It's not deep reading, but I am thoroughly enjoying it.
I'm also reading the first book in Joy Hakim's new series "The Story of Science". I am previewing it for our homeschooling, but enjoying it so much that it counts as my pleasure reading.
My next book is going to be "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy for some deeper reading. It sounds fantastic. After that book, "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" is next on the list.
Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich. It is a "between the numbers" book about Stephanie Plum, the bounty hunter. I am also reading "Revolutionary Road".
I love the Stephanie Plum books. They are brain candy... nothing serious. I generally am reading a bunch of magazines, one serious book and one candy book. It makes them last longer if I read more than one at a time! I hate finishing a book. LOL
Oh also just finished "Reading Lolita in Tehran"... highly recommended!
