Yes, you have to add water to both. I check mine daily and probably add a little water every 2 days. Unless you plan to do dry hatch. That I've never done some I'm unfamiliar with that method.also do you need to put water in both the incubators?

When they start breaking the shell to hatchwhat is pipping?
Two types one is internal pip meaning the chick has broken through the inner membrane to the air cell. That's the first time they'll breath air. Second is external pip. They made a crack in the shell of the egg. They can stay that way for while day or more before they begin to zipper and hatch.what is pipping?
I think they were around $170.00how much does that one cost?
I recommend you get googling. Learn about this before you do it.what is pipping?
Mine has humidity that is like 8 degrees low! So that would be something to consider but other than that it’s pretty good!Kebonnix incubators are AWESOME! Their super reliable and I've gotten near 100% hatch rates every time I've used one! I also bought a quail egg Turner for it on ebay so now I can hatch chickens and quail and it's been great! It's like a Nature Right 360 but wayyyyyy cheaper and it works just as well if not better!
i believe the house humidity effects the incubators humidity as well. a good reason to get a hygrometer to check too. our humidity where our incubator is is around 30-40%, and inside stays 40-50 without assistance, THAT is using my calibrated govee too. I think last reading it was about 3-5 off.Mine has humidity that is like 8 degrees low! So that would be something to consider but other than that it’s pretty good!
