I have a friend who just got a little banty rooster. He's really cute and pretty to top it of. She doesn't have a computer so I am posting this for her. Anyone know what breed this little guy is? Also, she has a bunch of hens. Will a banty rooster be able to breed the larger hens or will it not be feasible for him to mount the large hens? She wants chicks, as she has a buff orp and hoping she will go broody and she was hoping the little banty would do the job. If not she'll get a regular sized rooster. Thanks
Don't know what he is, but I think he'll do fine mating with standard-size hens. I bet his chicks would grow up to be lovely!
