What breed and are they most likely hens

I'm not much help but want to follow along. I have one that looks very similar to this so I'm interested in what others think. I've somewhat come to the conclusion that it's a black sex link, but am far from an expert lol. If I'm not mistaken, the black sex link with have a white spot on their head if it's a male? Am I right anyone? Mine didn't so I'm wondering??

Ok I said it looked similar but now that I looked closer mine has brown on the wings with the black. I don't think yours does so maybe they aren't the same.

@colong75 Yes BSL cockerels have white spots on their heads at hatch. @Mixedcat13298 yours maybe a BSL, if you see reddish brown coloring start coming in around the neck and chest area. The two white ones could be Leghorns, White Plymouth Rocks, or Red sex-link cockerels. The red and white ones I think are Red sex-links.

I know the Cockerel s are white Leghorn the eggs were given to my neighbor had white Leghorn and the brown eggs were mutts
I trying to build a co-op and want to make sure I have enough room for my black chick

This one didn't have a spot on the head when hatched was tiny then the past week grew a lot and is very heavy

To young to say, if they are Leghorns then there comb growth is natural for pullet as long as they don't get red early.

The two with barely a tail Combs are going red the other one standing tall in the picture isn't turning red yet and they are 24 days old
