Hi all,
Long-time reader, first time poster here. A colleague dropped off these four chicks indicating they were silkies. I only see that trait in their furry feet. Speaking of which 4 not 5 toes on these.
I'm told there were picked up from TSC about 6 weeks ago. I see TSC has mixed silkie unsexed but also bantams which appears closer to what they are.
The brown ones look mostly the same with to fluffy feathers, yellow crowns (some more pronounced), and some with more yellow in the face. Could these be quail? D'anvers?
The black and white one is a complete mystery to me. It's smaller than the rest, has similar feather pattern to my silver-laced wydonette but could this me a Silver Sebright Bantam? Male/Cockeral? I only think that due to the sharp tail feathers
Think these will be small full-grown? I'm trying to figure out if I need to extend my run Thanks for your help!
