True. Could it possibly one of the rarer breeds maybe mixed with a more common breed? I am very new to chickens so this all helps me. Still trying to figure out the gender too.

You're very welcome!Thanks so much! The person we bought it from bought a random selection of chicks from a hatchery I’m not sure where. We live in Florida so I’m not sure what big hatcheries there are here.
Thank you for answering my question!More in detail: They bought the fertile eggs online. They were shipped in a box to the person. The person then hatched the eggs for a class he did for children. He didn’t need the chicks after they hatched so he gave them to us.
