What breed and gender?

We have this chick that is maybe 5 or 6 weeks old, I'm guessing, that we got from rural king about 4 weeks ago. Can anyone tell me if we have a roo or hen and what breed it is? I'm thinking white leghorn but I'm new to this and not 100% sure. Thanks for all the help!

its typically early to tell, but judging by the size of the comb, I'd be suspicious as well. Give it a few more weeks and see if the comb starts to change to red. Usually cockerels redden up around 8 weeks, sometime before.

Thank you. I was thinking the comb was rather large, for as young as what it is. Would you happen to have an idea on the breed?

I'd say its a White Rock, body looks to heavily built for a White Leghorn.
