I've had several balck sex links colored similar to her over the years.

I guess that settles it. I can only attest for my experience, and I have not seen a BSL pullet with that much gold, but we have two (very knowledgeable might I add) people telling otherwise

I had a great layer a few years ago who didn't have a single black feather left by the time she was 2. She looked very much like an EE. But "most" BSL are mostly black.
