Any ideas on what breed are these bantams?

I agree although I suspect the Cochin is a cockerelI think your first 3 are a trio of Silver Duckwing Old English Game bantams. The last one looks like a partridge Cochin...how old is it? That comb is pretty red, but the pattern is female for now. Age will help.
The one with the black body and white head is a Japanese Bantam. The gray ones with a brown chest are Dutch Bantams.
Thank you!The one with the black body and white head is a Japanese Bantam. The gray ones with a brown chest are Dutch Bantams.
I was going to say the exact same thing. About the age and the breeds.I think your first 3 are a trio of Silver Duckwing Old English Game bantams. The last one looks like a partridge Cochin...how old is it? That comb is pretty red.
No no, I see where you get Dutch Bantam from. You never really know unless you get a DNA test, which nobody has.Well I guess I'm getting worse and worse at telling the breed of chickens as time goes by...
That's true but I have seen a handful on here that come in pencilled at first. Totally against all logic and especially for the variety. I believe the cockerel I'm thinking of was large fowl too I'll try and find the thread!!Partridge cockerel would have a black chest. Though I agree it's quite developed for a pullet.
For sure! I'd love to see it.That's true but I have seen a handful on here that come in pencilled at first. Totally against all logic and especially for the variety. I believe the cockerel I'm thinking of was large fowl too I'll try and find the thread!!
