what breed are these polish chickens??

oh...were suppose to have 1 hen and 1 rooster but i thought we had two roosters
 
White Crested Black Polish

All of them are roos, definately! Pointed head feathers on tips tells it all. And some of their tail feathers are pointed on the ends too.

Sorry you got roosters.
 
Agreed, easy to tell by just looking at the crests. Hens would be much more uniform and rounded.
 
I do however have 2 SL Polish hens with pointy head feathers I thought for the longest times would be roos- they both lay eggs.

If they have saddle feathers by the tail- Roos
 
I'm pretty sure they're roos. I'm sorry you were deceived, but there is little question about it. Those crest feathers are very pointy and thin and strandy.

Chickenzoo, I notice in most if not all SL Polish the hens always seem to have really pointy crest feathers.

I lived with the thought in my head that my Olive Oil was a boy until she was 4 and a half months old and wasn't showing that signature roo feathering. Not sure why, but SL are the hardest ones to tell.
