    thank you so much, we bought these off my wife's uncle to start our little flock. we had no clue what we bought, but we are in it now lol

    Wow, like i said im totally new to this, but my wife had chickens as a child, with this economy we figured we would try to collect the eggs and maybe later on might start to hatch some. Thank you for the info. so far i have learned a lot on this site

    I have a mix of a lot of breeds in my flock. I have 2 dark cornish hens that are just over a year old. Both of them have been broody twice! They are good mommas. Mine also lay 4-5 times a week at least.
