She looks like a Welsummer or Welsummer mix.

She looks like a Welsummer or Welsummer mix.

That is what she was supposed to be but she’s not, she lays a creamish colored egg….and I have 5 of this girls. I do have other ones that look welsummer although different by these girls (more brown less copper/orange colored) that do lay a welsummer egg so I am just stumped because they don’t fit the description of anything else I bought.

So she is likely a hybrid of some kind? Which hatchery did she come from? It can help narrow down the options.

She came from a local hatchery and I didn’t purchase any mixed breeds. I feel like the bin was possibly mislabeled?
