What breed for us?

We had coyotes to. We would bring them in at night.

we also have hawks and the turkeys poop on the sidewalk so yah they are not really free range

We have all of the chickens listed in my signature line... Honestly, the sex links we got from tractor supply are by far our friendliest chickens, lay 5-6 eggs a week, and lay the biggest eggs out of all our different breeds... They arent as flashy as some prettier ones, but if egg production is the desired trait they lay bigger and better than even our leghorn... Not to mention seem to be doing well in our michigan winters... The biggest thing however, is the number of breeds people have... Its clearly not just us, chickens are crazy addictive and you will end up with more than the "right breed for you"... Like the rest of us, you will probably have many breeds before you know it
