What breed & Gender is my rescue chicken??

Hi all!
So about 5 weeks ago i was given a wry neck chick who was apparently 4 weeks old. (Very under developed and unwell). It is now about 9 weeks old (supposedly). Does anyone have any ideas on breed or gender?

Cute little mixed breed. I am not so sure it's a cockerel, though-- the comb and wattles aren't red even though they are a little big for 9 weeks. I'd give it a week or two and try again for sex.
