I find it hard to tell the difference between jap and serama especially when they're not posing lol thanks
Me too! The Serama was derived from the Japanese so of course they look a lot alike. I think the Serama is smaller than the Jap. It is supposed to weigh 1/3 to 1/2 kilo and I think the Jap has sorter legs, relatively speaking. I have only seen Black Tailed Japanese So that may be part of my initial thought on his being a Serama. You will have to post more pictures when you get him!
