What breed is Mr. Big?

I already know his gender, but I have no clue what kind of rooster he is. When I got Mr. Big, I was told he came from a good bloodline. He is a good rooster, but I have no clue beyond that.

Can anyone guess his breed?

He looks like a Black Copper Marans to me.

BCM is my guess as well.

Black Copper Maran is my guess too, though he doesn't have feathers on his feet. I have heard that it is okay not to, it just matters to breeders with certain standards they go by.

Gonna say not a full Black Copper because he doesn't have the copper saddle. BCM roosters are considered among the most colorful and this chap isn't all that varied in his coloring. He could be a cross between clean legged BCM and a Black Maran.
