what breed is my black and white rooster?

The picture is small, and hard to see, but I think he may be a polish.....or a mottled houdan?

Oh, by the way....

Glad to have you here!
Chickens are so much fun and this place is a hoot. We're all enablers though so look out!

I know we've already covered this lesson, but EEs are not "mutts", that's just the typical BYC misconception.

If anything, they are more pure than any Ameraucana.

Technically in the U.S. they are a cross breed chickens that does not breed true.
The Easter Egger (EE) that hatcheries sell are cross bred chickens that might even have more than 2 breeds in them and they may or may not lay colored (Green or Blue) eggs.

You can call them what you want but in the U.S. there just a cross breed or "mutt"...

we love him, he's a lot of fun, just sometimes worry that he feels outta place with our red stars. I actually had to take hand feed and water him for the first few weeks we had him because he was so weak and getting trampled by our hens.

not sure how many toes he has...thought just three?

yea, the pics i'm finding of the silver laced polish look a lot more like him... thanks guys!
