What Breed is my Chicken?

He was yellow when we got him. Then he got white. Sometimes when he lifts his wings you can see some black under it. Here are some pictures:

The black on his head is probably from him wandering in the garage.

That is a little Silke. Very cute. I might suggest that you go out to a store that sells chiken supplies and get a waterer that is designed for chickens so it can not spill its water thus not making a mess so often.

Silkies are very hard to tell when they are young. Some people have to wait till they either lay an egg if a girls or crow if a boy.

Well that all depends on where you live. I am in Indiana and we have a lot of stores in my state.

he's 6 months old. I used to have 2 chickens but one died

aw, hows this one doing alone? I am thinking of getting a sliky chick myself...but if the chick seems lonley i'l get another.


If you ever decide to get ur chicken a friend, be careful..some chickens don't like when new chickens join there flock

it happened to me...my old hen hated the new chicks. hahaha
