what breed is my chickie?

    Hi I rescued this chicken along with her bantam friend a couple of months ago but have no idea what breed she is?[​IMG] any ideas? (The Black & white one)

    The bird appears like an Ancona, but it doesn't seem to be. Anconas tend to be thin, but your bird has the body shape of an Orpington, or a dual-purpose bird. I'm not sure what your bird is, sorry! :/

    She may be a Mottled Ancona, or could be just a mix that looks similar to one.

    Given her coloring (very Ancona like) and her general build (very non-Ancona like), I think she's probably an Ancona mixed breed. She's a beautiful bird though. :eek:)
