My babies are all grown up now, but I can't figure out what breed the gray one is. I'm pretty sure she's female and the male is the Roman Tufted.

They´re lovely. She looks like a Pom. Is the saddleback younger? From what I can see, your roman looks older. Romans are quite a small breed and Poms are large. If these are the same age and size, then she´s not likely to be a Pom. If, of course, she´s younger, then she could well be. Also, Poms should have pink-red bills.

I can´t really tell from your pic. There are a few breeds that have the saddleback pattern. where did you get them from? What were you told they were? They are gorgeous. Here´s a pic of saddleback poms from albc.

I got them at Big R about three months ago. They are the same age. They didn't know what breeds they had when I asked. I couldn't find a close matching picture on Google. The poms have the gray coloring down the neck and she doesn't. It's only down to her cheeks so I'm really not sure what she is .

She could be a mix and she is beautiful, mixes make lovely geese.

So, she´s quite a small goose, then.
I think these are skanegans, a landrace breed. The dark colouring doesn´t always come down the neck with this colour.

Normandies, a smaller breed, like the roman. another smaller breed is the shetland. With Normandies and Shetlands, the males are white.
