What breed is my hen.

Hi all I have what i was told is a bantam cochin but after looking at pictures of other bantam cochins and then of cochin x silkie im starting to wonder if she is a cross. Would greatly appreciate some feed back and guesses.

Thats what I thought. So my silkie rooster has been paying special attention to her i wonder if I hatched some of her chicks next spring what they may look like. Her dark skin and fuzzy head made me think she was really a cross.

This is Pippi my Silkie X, they could be twins. I was told she was a Silkie/Welsummer, but maybe she's a Cochin X too!

Oh my she looks juat like my girl Bitsy they could definitely be twins. You can see blue ears, I bet you have a silkie x cochin too

Thank you she is the sweetest. She jumps in my lamp all the time just to hang out and get some love.

If she's a first generation cross half of the chicks will have silkied feathers.
