It is a ringer for a black marans

Yes I have a book on chicken breeds and there is a picture of a marans hen - she IS a ringer except for leg color and the light leg feathering of a marans. I may have to try and contact Indian lady and decipher her accent to find out what breed, if she even remembers. It's a mystery.

Good morning; I have a couple of hens that could be her sisters for noisiness, attitude, build and color. They are the result of my filling an incubator tray to test some of my own eggs......Delaware rooster on Black Marans hens....before I got birds all separated out. So, I'd also vote for "crossbred".
