What Breed is My New Hen?

My personal opinion is that her father was a buff Orpington. Had to be, for her to show Columbian and be buff colored.
Mom could have been either Light Sussex or Columbian Plymouth Rock.

Agree, it is probably a Buff Orpington mix. It is showing some Columbian feather pattern in the hackles and tail so perhaps some Light Sussex in her too. Definitely not a New Hampshire. The photos of her feet are not overly clear but it looks like she might have a touch of scaly leg mites.... I was looking to see if she was clean legged and noticed they look a bit rough.

We treated her with ivermectin andd she had splayed legs when she was little. Her legs have always been like that and none of the other hens had gotten it. He brother also had legs like that.

Okay so I agree with BO mix because you can see the BO in her and I agree with @Cyprus that she has Light Sussex. None the less, beautiful bird

They certainly don't have to be pure bred to be a stunning bird. Personally I prefer mixed breed birds as they add so much extra colour, interest and individuality to a flock.
