Australorp don't have yellow soles on their feet, they have a pinkish white.

Maybe I'm thinking of Jersey Giants? I've got some low quality hatchery BAs, I'll have to go see what mine look like. I know these are about med/lrg but not super sized like BJGs I've seen before

I was actually considering that name for him but I ultimately went with waffles! Haha. Thank you! He is one handsome boy!

My aunt got him for me from a farm! Turns out he's half Australorp half Rhode Island Red!

Hard to say what else he might have in him. A few years ago I wanted some Brown Leghorns. I saw a bin marked Brown Leghorns at a feed store so I bought some. They turned out to be Partridge Rocks. I have since found a breeder and I now have my Brown Leghorns. Good luck and have fun...

I've had several Australorp mixes over the years. They all turned out to be wonderful roosters no matter what they are mixed with.

Yes, yellow feet is BJG, white/pink is BA. The hatchery BJG tend to be smaller than the heritage ones
