What breed is my rooster?

Got him from a family member who could no longer care for her chickens. He had no idea about the breed. He is 3, a phenomenal protector of the flock and very chivalrous. He is not aggressive towards me, but has chased my 4 year old away before lol . Some say he is a light Brahma mix, light speckled sussex, Easter egger. I would love to have more like him, but not sure where to start. He has a rose large comb, which I do not see often.

Maybe a Brahma/Orpington mix. Don't let him anywhere near children if he attacks them. His spurs can do serious harm, especially to eyes.

I would not keep a rooster who was aggressive to a young child.

If he attacks he will go for the eyes. Children have been blinded and/or permanently maimed. Your child is more valuable than any rooster.

Agreed. Too many polite roosters in the world to keep one that is dangerous.

I agree! It’s only happened once a long time ago, no harm was done. He’s never done it since. He’s a good boy!

He has only done it once and no harm was done, he’s never done it since. He’s a good boy! It was probably becysse she was trying to pick up a hen and chasing it.
