This rooster I've owned for 6 years, the hen with lighter feathers on its underside for 4 years, the hen with brown feathers for 1 year. Now they have 3 chicks. The rooster is of course the father but the hen with brown feathers is the mother of all 3 chicks and the hen with lighter feathers co-parents with her despite not having any chicks of her own. In fact she's never successfully bred with the rooster. I was wondering if it's because shes a different breed. If any of you know what breed all 3 parents are I would like to know.
