What breed is this chicken?

    This is Everest. I was told she was a Wyandotte but not told she was full breed so I am ok with it. Here is a better picture.[​IMG]
    Any idea what breed she is? She is full grown.

    Nothing is up with her pattern. It's what it should be, gold feathers rimmed in black.

    There's just a lot of variation in hatchery birds. Some have more black, some have more gold. Some are very "smutty", where the black bleeds into the gold and you don't get nice crisp edges.

    I think at this point, what you see is pretty much what you're going to get with her as far as color.

    Look like a quality Gold Laced Wyandotte to me. If she was in my barn she'd the breeder pen.
