He looks to be a barnyard mix, but if he came from a hatchery, maybe a California Tan or some other kind of layer hybrid. He's not any pure breed.

Update on Marshall Mathers (the name my daughter gave this white Roo). I found the box I had brought home my TSC "pullets." The supposed breeds were written on the side. I think this one is a Pearl Onyx. Any thoughts?
