What breed is this? I'm confused!

My boy is mixed, but his father is a BR, and he is stunning. My brother has 3 BR roos that free range, and they are great protectors of the flock, yet comical and gentle.
Sorry, I don't know anything about BO roos. I have a hen though, and she is my friendliest, most curious hen. I guess maybe you need one of each. lol

I would get a buff Orpington rooster. Then, you can hatch pure BOs from the BO hens and black sex links from the barred rock hens.
