What breed is this little bantam? Boy or girl?

Hi There,

I have this super sweet little bantam, named Star. She's 6 weeks old, and I still can't figure out what breed she is. She was a fluffy greyish chick and now she is still grey and white with some light brown feathers starting to show up here and there.
Can you tell from her comb if she is a boy or a girl?
Wow, this community is amazing! Thank you all so much for your quick replies! It seems the consensus is he is a Crele OEGB Cockerel. ❤️✨
He is so tame and sweet, do you all think he'll stay that way as he matures? Anything we can do other than lots of handling to encourage him stop stay as personable as he is now?

Lots of handling usually does the opposite actually.

He needs to respect you. Not see you as a peer.

The behavior forum would be a great place to get tips for that. 😊

In the UK we call that feather colour Cuckoo.

Handsome chap!
Thank you, I just looked up Cuckoo OEGB and it looks like that coloring has less of the brown feathers than the images I found for the Crele OEGB's. Are Crele and Cuckoo supposed to be synonymous or does it indicate a variety difference?

This video seems like a good example of the Cuckoo coloring and looks like a big version of mine!

Barred has cleaner defined lines. Cuckoo is like barred but a bit smudgy. I have a cuckoo Polish. I'm not sure about OEGB specifically, but a quick search says crele has a brownish head with the cuckoo body. But I'm no expert!

ETA: just went back to the first page and this one does have a brown head!! Crele it is then 😁
