What breed is this pullet?

Quote:
Nope. Easter eggers are a mixed breed with *some* ameraucana or araucana in them causing them to lay colored eggs. (a mutt) True ameraucanas and araucanas are a pure breed and only lay blue eggs.

Don't let the Ameraucana and Araucana "enthusiasts" hear you say that!!!

Legs are slate,no green.Comb is single no pea. There is no beard.Notting realy says EE.She has 2 birds who look the same. There is not big chance 2 EE to be soo similar. I think (not sure) these birds are hatchery Golden Lakenvelders. You have to wait for the eggs

ve, I think you read my mind....I was going through the thread and was surprised everyone said EE, I don't see it at ALL. I do agree with you that she is most likely a hatchery golden lakenvelder. EE's should have at least ONE(although most have two) of these traits BEARD/MUFF , GREEN LEGS, PEA COMB(almost ALL will have a pea comb if they don't have the other two) although I have seen some EEs with straight combs but they had beard/muff and green legs. If they are lakenvelders then they will lay a white or slightly tinted egg

Okay, you're onto something with the Lakenvelder.

Look at this:

That's pretty much exactly what these two looked like at that age.

I need to get some new pics.

Good deal! I knew somebody would figure it out! I've never seen a golden Lakenvelder before So I would never have guessed that breed:D.
