what breed is this pullet?

But what about the feathered legs?

The French version of the Cuckoo Marans have feathered legs. The English type, clean legged ones are more common in America, but you can still find feather legged Cuckoo Marans.

Oh ok. I read that no cuckoo marans had feathered legs on a hatchery site. Thanks.

Penelope is 8 1/2 weeks. She is the most friendly of our chicks and doesn't mind being held.

Daytime people, do you have any guesses?

PP is 9 1/2 weeks. Still trying to decide if she's a Cuckoo Marans. Looks like she is going to be the alpha hen. When should I expect some real clucking and less peeping (not that the peeping isn't adorable.)

Penelope at 12 1/2 weeks. She's such a funny little hen. Can't wait to see her eggs, sadly I still have quite a wait. She doesn't like the auto focus noise my phone makes so it's hard to get pics of her.
