Hi guys! New to geese (just got 2 yesterday) and I’m wondering what breeds I have. They were hatchery choice at my local feed store. I suspect the darker one is a Saddleback Pomeranian and the yellow one is a White Chinese, but I’m not sure. I don’t know which hatchery they came from so not sure which breeds they even had at the time. Any ideas? Anyway to tell sex on these guys too?

I think your right on the breeds @cajun41887 they are adorable can't tell sex except by vent sexing and you really need to be experienced or they can be injured.
Is there a way to tell the sex once they are older? Like drakes are more quiet in ducks and the ducks quack. Is it similar for geese?

Ganders are high pitched when they honk females mumble low pitched. Then when females get to breeding and egg laying age their bellies will hang lower than the gander. The gander will become very protective of his mate also.
