What breed is this?

I have no information on the breeds, some guy gave these 2 chicks away to me. I’m only familiar with Orpington’s and brahmas. I don’t know what bread these could be anyone have any ideas? Thank you

Second could be a welsummer. Are they possibly mixed breeds? It's best to wait until they mature more to try to guess.

He said he thinks the light colored one could be a light Brahma but it doesn’t have hair on the legs so I don’t think it is.

First one looks almost like a Rhode Island red. The second looks like a speckled Sussex or Welsummer.

The guy didn't tell you what they were? They look like mixes to me. Th chipmunk head and feather pattern on the second one seems like it has EE in there but it has light colored feet which is not very EE. I'm going with mutts, which by the way lay perfectly tasty eggs!
