they do not have feathers on their legs, and the black around the neck is just a few rows of feathers, like they are wearing necklaces!

They are on the larger side and it could look like the Delaware, but can the black feathers go all the way around the neck?? I really appreciate everyone's brainstorming! I still haven't been able to find a pic that looks close enough like it. The Lakenvelders are too small, I think.

Can they have a thinner ring/ band of black feathers? These hens had about an inch wide band, same size, all around the neck.
These are gorgeous birds, too!!!

I do believe Columbian Cochin is THE ONE! Thank you!!! Now where can I get some? Are they sold at the feed stores in the spring or ordered from a hatchery? I do want to get a bigger coop and double my numbers next year.....
